SBM 2.1 Echo problems
Ok here're my system specs:
OS: Windows XP SP3
TeamSpeak: 2.0.33.7
Soundcard #1: Razer Barracuda AC-1 (Set as windows default soundcard)
Soundcard #2: Realtek ALC885 (Driver 5.10.0.5591)
Problem:
So, i set TeamSpeak to use Realtek HD Audio input as input channel and Realtek HD Audio Output as output and everything goes fine with teamspeak. Next i launch SBM and set Realtek HD Audio Output as output device, Realtek HD Audio input as input device and Volume mic as input line, as last, Realtek HD Audio Output as stereo mix and Stereo Mix as Mix Line.
To be clear i list here all the lines in Realtek HD Audio input: Volume CD, Volume Line, Volume Mic and Stereo Mix.
I try to run a sound on teamspeak with the folowing lines activated adn the rest deactivated: Volume mic. And there's no output from the mic line so no output over Teamspeak. I tryed to activate Stereo Mix line and i was able to send teh sound over TS but with both, Volume Mic and Stereo Mix, activated i echo every sound i hear making it impossible to communicate over teamspeak.
Is the configuration wrong in any step?
How can i resolve it?
EDIT: A question i'm curious about, what's exactly the reason why we should set a second stereo mix line oO? Aint the program supposed to just send a sound over the mic line?

Soundcard volume problem
The problem you are describing cries for an update of sbm.
I will add an option for you to put the volume of the other input channel down.
This should be sufficient to get it running in your configuration.
All options are necessary by design.
It's quite a hack im doing with this piece of software to get the wished effect.
And in some configuration unlike yours the devices are splitted up (like in vista)

yes - an update would be great !
hey m8 !
love your little app that gave me quite some fun in the past !
but unfortunately since one year on vista64 and realizing that i was missing something
i had to find out that soundboardmaker stops working on my OS.
realtek onboard sound as base.
anyway, a chance for a working version somewhen ?
regards
